What is the Warranty on the Products?
All our products are covered by a 12-month warranty, for return and replacement
In essence this means that faulty products can be returned by post to NanoVision, in China, where we will make the repairs or instant replacement and ship the new goods back to you.
How can I pay for goods bought at NanoVision.co.uk?
We use Paypal for payment. If you don't have a Paypal account you can sign up for an account while completing your NanoVision order checkout.
"Is Shipping Included?" "Do I have to pay extra for delivery?" "How much are the courier fees?"
All goods are coming from China so we use DHL and Fedex as our shipping agents.
Shipping is not included in the item prices: you need to use the online system to generate a shipping quote for your order.
Please put the desired number of items in your cart and follow the checkout screens to select a courier option and preview shipping prices.
The shipping charges for orders are calculated automatically depending on the total weight of your order.
You can go back and make changes to your cart or courier selection at any time.
The courier shipping options you see during the checkout process online are the only options currently available. China standard postal delivery is not available for most exported products.
How long foes it take to ship?
Delivery times and shipping costs depend on the item, the size of the order, and the destination.
The majority of orders arrive with our customers within 10 days of placing an order online.
Popular items delivered to major destinations often have a much shorter turnaround.
Generally, we suggest you allow 7-10 days.
What Can I Do If A Product I Got From NanoVision Has A Problem?
Before returning goods, please contact us first to discuss the issues you are having. In over 90% of cases we are able to sort out the problem by giving technical support, without you having to send anything back.
If there are irremediable defects with the devices, you can return them for repair or replacement under our twelve month warranty.
If you did not buy your product directly from NanoVision, you need to contact the vendor who sold it to you. It may still be possible for you to return a faulty product directly to NanoVision and get a replacement sent directly to you, but first this needs to be discussed with the person who was responsible for the original order with NanoVision.
*Please note we do not provide any technical support or software support whatsoever for products that were not bought from NanoVision. So please don't email us saying "I bought this gadget and it says made in China so I guess you guys oughta help me out". Everything is made in China. We are not magicians / saints. We think that's fair enough!
Do I have to pay taxes? How much will the import tax be? What about customs duties? Do you deliver duty paid?
We only add VAT if shipping to the UK. You pay us what you see on the order screen, i.e. goods total + shipping cost.
HOWEVER - In most countries in the world you have to pay taxes on imported goods. That's life.
Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes.
The rules are different in every country.
In any one country the rules are often applied differently in different places, and sometimes rather randomly.
Anything you buy from us is going to be imported from China as far as your customs are concerned.
Unfortunately there is no way for us to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws, or rulings of any country.
As such we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country.
As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order.
If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s) from China. Unfortunately we can't calculate this for you and there is no way to pre pay it. So please be aware of the possibility of having to pay taxes when receiving the goods.
If you order goods from us and feel that you've been unexpectedly 'stung' with taxes at your end, please don't blame us.
Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order.
If you find out information about the import tax situation in your country, and you believe there are ways for you to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes altogether), WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS regarding labelling, packing, declarations, invoices, etc. Just tell us what you need and we will let you know what we can do to help.
If you don't tell us anything we will just state on the shipping waybill the "China Nominal Retail Value" and the goods will be declared as Samples. In many countries this still means you're going to have to pay tax to the courier when you sign for the goods.
That is why our overall statement about tax is always as follows:

Do you include the cables and the right 110V / 240V adapter with products? Is there a box? What else is included in the packaging? What about manuals and are they in English?
All electronics products are supplied complete with: • Presentable packaging - usually box; • If applicable, USB cable(s); • If applicable, other AV connector cables. • If applicable, earphones. • If applicable, Power adapter suitable for destination region; • English language Product Instructions / Manual (often on CD); • If applicable, Driver CD + required software. Some products have a factory warranty card, and a 12 month warranty on all products.
Electronic menus always have an English language setting (set by default); please check item descriptions for other supported languages. *"If applicable" above just means whether it's relevant to the product type. E.g. All USB products will have at least one USB cable. All MP3 players will have earphones. All Car DVD players will have AV cables. All digital cameras with rechargeable battery will have charger adapter.
Here are some of the most important "small print" items that you MUST be aware of before you place orders:
- NanoVison sends goods direct to you from China. As such, you (or the consignee) are IMPORTING. In many countries this means you will be liable for import duties and other taxes. It's YOUR responsibility to find out about this, and YOUR responsibility to pay the taxes/charges on receipt of the items.
- Please read our full knowledgebase notes about import taxes, because we do our best to help you!
- We can't deliver to PO boxes.
- You need a valid phone number on your account.
- Flashing the firmware on mp3 / mp4 players voids the warranty. Even if the product comes with firmware update features / software, please do not use it.
- Take note of the *sensor* megapixel rating on digital cameras, not the "interpolated" rating.
- We strongly recommend you order samples before proceeding with large wholesale orders.
- All products are covered by our 12 month warranty.
- We don't acdept goods which are not faulty.
- Customers are responsible for paying the shipping for returning items to us. This is sometimes refundable if we find a mistake was made. The cost of shipping replacement products is covered by NanoVision.
